Selena Gomez’s Sonogram Picture — Real Or Not Real?

On Wednesday, March 19, a sonogram picture of a patient named “Gomez, S.” hit the internet and set it a blaze with rumors that Selena Gomez was pregnant. The best part? This sonogram showed not one but two babies, meaning that if Selena was expecting with her boyfriend Justin Bieber, they were expecting TWINS!
However,  after getting a “no comment” from Selena’s rep, and having Justin’s reps decline to comment at all, HollywoodLife.com decided to do some hardcore investigating and figure out what’s really going on here. We even spoke to a doctor who made a very interesting point about the sonogram picture in question. Are you ready for the truth? Here it comes!

Selena Was Not In Texas On March 11

The first, and maybe the most important factor in this sonogram situation, is that the sonogram in question was taken at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center in Austin, Texas on March 11. You can see the hospital’s ID on the sonogram above. However, there is no possible way that Selena was at St. David’s Austin Medical Center on March 11. How do we know this? Because on March 11, Selena was photographed on the streets of New York City doing a photo shoot for her upcoming adidas neo campaign.
The original report from eBuzzd also claims that the sonogram took place while Selena was in Austin with Justin for his performance at SXSW, but that was on the night of March 10, not March 11.


The fact that Selena was in New York on the same day this sonogram was taken in Austin should prove to you that it doesn’t belong to her. However, if you need further proof that the tampered sonogram isn’t hers, HollywoodLife.com has even more information for you.
A personal blog written by a woman named Elle in March 2009 features an identical sonogram. You’ll notice that only some of the information has been altered, such as the addition of St. David’s Austin Medical Center, the March 11 date, and the “Gomez, S.” that made everyone believe it was really Selena’s.
The text on the original sonogram is the same where the technician marks the babies heads for the parent. It’s just that the parents is NOT Selena.
A hollywood gossip website spoke to a doctor in New York who told us exclusively: “All sonograms are different based upon the development of the fetus.” So, it’s not very likely that two sonograms would be identical to each other like this.
So it looks like an internet trickster is just trying to get everyone in an uproar over a possible Jelena baby. And they succeeded!
